Without doubt the book that led to the fabulous movie The World's Fastest Indian - One Good Run by Tim Hanna.
Burt Munro was a flawed legend, but a legend just the same.

The Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia is one of the world's biggest saltpans. Ordinarily dry, when it rains it becomes a huge puddle, 1 or 2 cm deep! In 2002, we rode across stunning reflections like this for about 100km..............Absolutely, stunningly, mind numbingly surreal.
